The Exhibition is the culminating event of a primary students’ education. When a child has reached their final year in the Primary Years Programme they are provided the opportunity to lead their own final inquiry project.

Over the course of six weeks, exhibition students are challenged to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout their entire educational journey.

Provided a central idea, students are given the freedom to devise lines of inquiry.  Students will research and explore an idea, concept or question that is personally relevant.  With the guidance of an expert mentor, students reach for understandings. Ultimately, the students take action and make a difference on both local and global levels.

Annually, we hold Exhibition night.  At this event the exhibition students demonstrate themselves as passionate PYP educators. The ISD community is invited to view exhibition students research project presentations and celebrate their achievements as they make their transition to secondary school.
