Spanish and English: Students have Spanish or English class twice weekly with specialist teachers.
Spanish is differentiated based on ability; students are grouped according to whether Spanish is their mother tongue or if they are learning it as an additional language. Students work to develop their communication skills through reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition, they study the Spanish culture exploring: culture, geography and history.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for students whose mother tongue is other than English. Additional fees are charged to students who, upon assessment of need, are enrolled in EAL support. Students are given a placement test by the EAL teacher to determine their needs for support and then receive specialised individualised instruction.
