Naná comes from Montevideo, Uruguay. She has been learning languages from a very young age, and her love for English has shaped her career. She holds qualifications in Translation (English-Spanish),Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Special Needs Assisting. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education Studies with a focus on Inquiry-Based Learning at Marino Institute of Education, an associated college of Trinity College Dublin.
Naná worked in several schools in Uruguay, including an IB school, where she worked in both the PYP and the MYP. Naná came to Dublin for a gap year in 2011, and later decided to return, joining ISD in 2016.
What she loves the most about ISD is the mix of cultures and languages. Naná currently holds the positions of PYP Coordinator and Classroom Assistant. This means she has the opportunity to be involved with the whole school.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and travelling. She lives near the Phoenix Park and adores going over to visit the deer.
